Horse Racing Free Bets & T Shirts

As I was watching TV last night I noticed that William Hill are offering a free bet to the value of £30, now that’s ideal for me, because I haven’t got an online account with them and the grand national is coming up and some places all ready have some early prices for the horses.
Last year Mon Mome who started out at an incredible and unbelievable price of 100/1, so putting £10 on to win would have seen me win £1000.

I’m the sort of person who will use my free bets on a combination of bets I’ll usually look for a good Jockey like Ruby Walsh, then I’ll bet on a horse under 15/1 and finally on a higher odd horse, oh I might put a few £1 bets on a 1/100 horse you never know.

The weekend was pretty standard, it was just a relaxing weekend spent at home with a sport of shopping.
My t shirts are selling quite well on eBay as well, they are going at a very steady rate of 1 a day which isn’t great but it isn’t bad either.

Vancouver 2010

My brother came round for some beers last night while we watched some of the Winter Olympics coverage from Vancouver. A few of the women’s skiers took nasty falls in the downhill event, i mean they must be doing 80mph at least so I presume it’s like coming of a motorbike with a slightly softer landing if you hit soft snow hit ice then I guess it’s like concrete.

I’ve really been enjoying the BBC coverage of Vancouver 2010, they recently came under fire for sending more reporters to the Olympics than Team GB had Olympians.

This morning I went downstairs to find my brother had left all his smoking gear, rolling papers, tobacco, filters and his tobacco tin. Hopefully he’ll get them picked up tonight. He’ll probably come round on his quad and annoy all my neighbours. He’s got a Yamaha 700 Raptor with twin exhausts so it makes a right noise, and the worst part is he hast to warm it up before he leaves so he’ll be having a fag outside for 10 minutes before he leaves.

Selling T Shirts eBay

Over the weekend I managed to sell a few of my t shirts on eBay, so I posted them on Monday. Selling 3 over the is quite good if this keeps going I should have sold out in 2 months I’m also hoping that sales will slowly rise as well. Which means I’m going to need to look for some more t shirt printing companies online, I would use the company that I used last time but I’m going to shop around a bit more this time to see if I can get a slightly cheaper t shirt.
I’ve seen splashlogo which I have sent a quote off to and found really helpful.

I’m thinking of increasing my order slightly as well if the sales increase. I will use all of my profit as well so that I can have a budget of £200. I’m looking at having a new design aswell “No Lighty No Likey”

Posting them isn’t that bad, as I have some large jiffy bags which I can just slip the t shirt into and then seal the jiffy up.

So fingers crossed for a sale of 5 t shirts this weekend which would be great and make my weekend. I’m also offering special delivery with the t shirts so that people can get them sent the next day.

T Shirt Venture Part 2

Yesterday my t shirts arrived, i placed the order at the beginning of January and the online tshirt printing company has done a great job I’ve gota batch of 3 prints made up in 2 sizes medium and large.

It cost me just over the £150 i had budgeted as the delivery was slightly more. but I’m really impressed with the quality of the print and the t shirt. They are Fruit of the Loom branded t shirts which makes a nice change as i thought they where going to be really cheap t shirts.

Getting t shirt printing sorted over the Internet wasn’t that bad and was quite an easy experience.

Hopefully I’ll get all my t shirts sold on eBay and down the local pub, I’m hoping to get them all sold by the end of march, if i can get them all sold I’ll make £50 which isn’t a lot but its enough to run my van for the week.

My T Shirt Venture

I’ve been looking at getting a few t shirts printed with funny slogans on and flogging them on eBay. There are quite a few online t-shirt printing companies on the net so it took me a will to decide on one that I really liked and found easy to use.

I’ve finally found a company to use, there website offers an easy to use design tool which offers you options like t shirt colours and styles, and a few other options like where you want your logo.

I have a few simple comedy lines, that I’m going to have put on the front of t shirts, I’m looking at getting around 5 of each in two colours which will be black and white which means I’ll be getting around 50 shirts.

I have managed to negotiate a good price of £3 per printed t shirt, which means i’ll have to pay out around £150 for the t shirts alone. Hopefully eBay auctions will be under £1 each if not free.

I’m only ordering a mixture of small medium and large, anything else will have to be a special order from my t shirt printing company.

My £150 is a bit of disposable money that i have, so if this doesn’t take off then it doesn’t matter and people will be getting t shirts for Birthdays, Christmas and Bar Mitzvah’s.

I won at 888Ladies Bingo!!!

Now I know what you’re thinking, I’m not a lady, but you’ll be surprised to hear that I’ve been playing at 888Ladies bingo for a while now. I used to play at Gala bingo but there were so many players that I never won, but with 888Ladies there are less players and great jackpots and I won £93 last night!

Although it is geared towards women with the game interface mainly in pink, men can also join and the bingo caller makes me laugh with their alternative number calls such as, 88 need to lose some weight and 75 I will survive!

When I signed up I received £5 free to start playing straight away and when I deposited some money into my account I also got a 150% deposit bonus, so ended up with £30 to play with after depositing just £10. The Bingo games are fast and furious and the bingo software does all the work for you, crossing off numbers and telling you how many more you need to win.

888Ladies is a great bingo site that is easy to use and has fewer players than some of the more popular sites, so is easier to win. I can vouch as my £93 winnings are being transferred to my bank account now and will be used to pay for Christmas presents for my family :-)

Doing your bit against Global Warming

Global warming is a concept that many of us are now familiar with, whether it’s from surfing online, TV or Radio news reports, or from conversations with family & friends. Over the past few years, there’s been a massive amount of press surrounding the issue and a lot debate still surrounds the subject. So should you be concerned? Is your future and that of your family in really in big trouble if the predictions are true?

There is a major school of thought that argues that global warming is a self fulfilling prophecy. They say that if we pay attention to it now we may just save ourselves and the planet from the worst effects but if we don’t address the issues now then we are only lining up more problems for ourselves in the future. Although the big international businesses often work with energy consultants specially set up to advise companies on cutting carbon emissions, doing your bit as an individual doesn’t have to take a great deal of effort or money. It just needs a slightly different mindset. There is a great deal – perhaps a little too much – emphasis placed on the importance of energy efficient systems and vehicles but there are lots of little and more everyday ways to help.

In order to do your bit to prevent global warming, start by having a look how your home is run. For example, many households leave their TV and Sky boxes on standby when they could easily be turned off. PCs, mobile phone chargers and radios could also be turned off at the wall when not in use. This is also an excellent way to save more on your energy bills. Lowering the amount of electricity being used is also very simple, as it involves just turning off lights or any other electrical appliance in the home when you don’t need them to be on or you have left the room. Another way you can help is by making sure your heating thermostat is not turned up too high so enjoy the comfort of wearing a jumper and woolly socks instead. This little step – just turning down the heating by a degree or two – will have a positive impact on the dangerous emissions coming from your home.

Changing from old standard light bulbs to new energy efficient ones can also help especially if you can use the more energy efficient ones all over the house. Many traditional light bulbs need to be replaced frequently, but energy efficient ones last for at least a year or two without needing to be replaced. Energy efficient lightbulbs are a bit pricier but savings will soon be made as they do not need to be replaced so often. If you rent your home, ask your landlord or landlady to fix any drafty windows or doors and discuss the possibility of upgrading any old heating or electrical appliances.

As for transport, investing in a new hybrid or energy efficient car isn’t necessary in order to change the way you get from A to B (and they aren’t that cheap either). You could try walking for short journeys, sharing a car for longer journeys and of course there is always public transport. Did you know that just be cutting out three car journeys a week you could be helping in the fight against global warming? So, become your own energy consultant and do your bit for the planet, however small.

How to play online bingo

If you’re not familiar with bingo at all – it is a very easy game to understand, requiring little or no skill. Its online cousin is often easier still! Despite its ease, bingo is a compelling game of chance with a great social aspect and should you choose to dip a toe in the water you’ll probably be hooked.

The game’s format is as follows. Players purchase a card consisting of three rows of random numbers (the amount of numbers on each cards can vary according to different forms of the game). Then, numbers are drawn from a machine at random and called out to the audience. If a number that is called corresponds to a number on your card, you cross it out. The winner of the game is the first player to cross out all the numbers on a card – a fact they announce with the famous shout of “house!” which brings the game to an  end.

Online bingo is exactly the same in principle with a few minor changes. Firstly, the numbers are not drawn from a machine and announced, but are generated at random by a software program. In addition, most online games have an auto cross-off feature that marks the numbers off for you automatically so you don’t even have to watch the game. Finally, the games are accompanied by an online chat room where the people involved in the game can chat to each other. This is the heart of the online bingo experience and where great, lasting friendships can be made.

Most bingo sites require you to register with them before you play to create a profile and username by which you will become recognised by other players. In most cases, they will also require you to leave your credit card details to make payments for cards. Many operators will actually give you a free budget to play with on joining – as much as £20s worth of free games can be had during some promotions.

Some games can have incredibly high jackpot prizes of many thousands of pounds. These are the so-called ‘progressive games’ in which there is no guarantee that any particular game will actually have a winner. In such a game, the amount in the jackpot increases with each game and it is here that the most serious players will try to win big money.

Although online bingo is a game of chance, you can slightly increase the odds of you winning by buying several cards at once in any single game. This gives you a greater spread of numbers and therefore a marginally higher chance of a win overall.

Acrylic Bongs

I’m in the market for a few new Acrylic Bongs to add to my collection, I’ve got around 10 bongs so far and i have about £50 to spend this weekend, I’ve been looking a the Black leaf 53Cm Bong which retails around £30 leaving me with £20 so i think I’ll just get a cheapo bong for occasional use when i have the odd house party.

Even budget bongs can be quite good in the styling and design, the quality might lack a little but if your passing them round with your mates your not going to get your best glass bong out in case it gets dropped.

I’ve got all sorts of bongs in my collection from tall ones to short fat ones and those nifty travel ones that you can get.
